Description

A simple warm tonic made with raw honey, fresh lemon juice, and a pinch of cayenne pepper to support memory and clear brain fog.

Ingredients

Scale

1 tbsp raw honey

1 tbsp fresh lemon juice

1 pinch cayenne pepper

1 cup warm water (100 degrees Fahrenheit)

1 pinch ground cinnamon (optional)

1 pinch ground turmeric (optional)

1 thin slice fresh ginger (optional)

Instructions

1. Heat water in a kettle until warm. It should be about 100 degrees Fahrenheit and comfortable to touch.

2. Pour the warm water into a glass mug.

3. Add the raw honey to the warm water and stir gently until it is completely dissolved and the water turns light amber.

4. Squeeze the fresh lemon juice into the mug and stir to combine.

5. Sprinkle the cayenne pepper and optional cinnamon, turmeric, or ginger on top.

6. Stir one last time and drink immediately while warm to preserve the enzymes.

Notes

Store any leftover raw honey at room temperature. Do not refrigerate.

Use fresh lemon juice instead of bottled for the best flavor and vitamin C content.

Never use boiling water as it destroys the enzymes in raw honey.

Drink this first thing in the morning for the best cognitive support.
