Greek Lamb Meatballs with Tzatziki are juicy, herb-packed, and ready in 25 minutes. Serve with creamy feta tzatziki for a bold, fresh meal.

Ingredients

Scale

1 pound ground lamb

¼ cup red onion, finely chopped

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon flat-leaf parsley, minced

2 teaspoons fresh mint, minced

1 egg

2 tablespoons panko breadcrumbs

1 teaspoon kosher salt

½ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

For the Tzatziki:

1 cup Greek Yogurt

1 small Persian cucumber, diced

1 lemon, juiced (plus more to taste)

3 cloves garlic, finely minced

2 tablespoons fresh dill, chopped

½ cup crumbled feta

Kosher salt and freshly cracked black pepper to taste

Chopped parsley to garnish

Instructions

1. Preheat the oven to broil.

2. In a bowl, mix ground lamb, red onion, garlic, parsley, mint, egg, breadcrumbs, salt, and pepper.

3. Form into golf ball-sized meatballs.

4. Place meatballs on a baking sheet, two inches apart.

5. Broil for 5–7 minutes, turning halfway through.

6. Alternatively, bake at 425°F for 8–10 minutes.

7. Combine all tzatziki ingredients in a bowl.

8. Adjust seasoning with salt, pepper, and lemon to taste.

9. Serve meatballs warm with chilled tzatziki.

10. Garnish with parsley if desired.

Notes

These meatballs are excellent for meal prep or freezing.

Swap lamb for ground beef, chicken, or turkey if preferred.
