Description
A simple, 5-minute warm drink designed to support healthy blood sugar and insulin response first thing in the morning. This glucose reset ritual combines apple cider vinegar, lemon, and cinnamon for a gentle, energizing start to your day. Sip it 15–30 minutes before breakfast to set a stable metabolic tone.
Ingredients
8 oz (240 ml) warm water (about 160°F / 71°C)
1 tbsp (15 ml) apple cider vinegar (raw, unfiltered with “the mother”)
1/2 fresh lemon, juiced (about 1 tbsp / 15 ml)
1/4 tsp ground cinnamon (Ceylon preferred)
1 tsp raw honey (optional, for sweetness)
Instructions
1. Heat 8 oz (240 ml) of water to warm, about 160°F (71°C). It should be comfortable to sip, not boiling.
2. Pour the warm water into a 12-ounce mug. Add the apple cider vinegar and fresh lemon juice.
3. Sprinkle in the ground cinnamon. Use a small whisk or fork to stir vigorously for 15–20 seconds until well blended.
4. Taste and stir in the optional honey if desired.
5. Sip slowly over 5–10 minutes on an empty stomach, 15–30 minutes before breakfast.
Notes
Best made fresh and consumed immediately. Do not store or reheat.
Stir before each sip to redistribute the cinnamon.
Use raw, unfiltered apple cider vinegar with “the mother” for best quality.
For a stricter reset, omit the optional honey.
Keep the water warm, not hot, to preserve beneficial compounds.
